When nails go a long time between trimmings the vein inside grows longer and longer. If you want your dog to have nice short nails they need to be trimmed often. Regular trimming can help the vein retract..

Bodee got a big boy haircut today. He decided half way through he needed a little break. Apparently getting a haircut is just as hard as giving a haircut. 💙

As we move closer to the holidays, particularly Christmas, I do get booked ahead. Please don't get left out. Unlike other large busy salons with 5 or 6 employees, the pet spaw is just me. I'm getting a lot of calls lately for large dogs, standard poodles and doodles mostly. I do post pictures of my own personal poodles, but they crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago. I haven't been able to do large dogs in about 2 or 3 years. I have a hard time with anything over 10 pounds, but can sometimes manage a 15 pounder if they are well behaved. Please understand, I have nothing against large dogs, it's simply a physical limitations thing.
