Apparently now we are having a smallest vs largest egg contest!

One of our girls decided to go BIG while another decided to go home. 😂

The small egg is a fairy egg which is a tiny egg that a hen lays without a normal yolk inside. They’re also called wind eggs, fart eggs, or dwarf eggs (depending on who you ask 😂). They’re usually much smaller than a regular egg and can happen when a hen’s reproductive system releases a little bit of egg material before a normal yolk has made its way through.

Nature is weird. Chicken math is weird. And apparently our chickens are just out here keeping us entertained.

Although our stand is currently closed, we still have plenty of eggs for sale! Please message us to set up a time for pick up!

The self serve stand is going to be down for the count for a little bit 😞 today’s craziness won. Thankfully the stand was the only thing damaged. But still sad.

🚨 BUSTED. 🚨

For someone who constantly reminds me, “They’re your chickens,” and claims he doesn’t even like them… I happened to catch him sweet-talking every single hen while collecting eggs. 😂🐔

I don’t think he realized I was standing there listening. Sorry, babe… the evidence says otherwise. ❤️🥚

Does anyone else have a spouse who insists they don’t like the animals… but secretly babies them?

I’m not great at posting that the stand is open. So unless you hear otherwise I have been opening later (10AMish) due to not having any traffic in the mornings. If there’s enough interest I will open it earlier but it’s open til Dark!
Eggs, zucchini, and some peppers (WARNING!) there are some hot peppers I have a small batch that is a gamble the rest will be labeled from here on out 🙂
