2nd little heifer for the year. Small herd of 2 leaves us done for this year with calving. Next year we will be adding in a heifer that was born last year on farm so hopefully we will have 3 calves. If all goes well these two heifers this year will remain in herd bringing us up to five breeding cows next summer. Slower process but can't wait to see everyone grow and what calves come down the line.

1st calf of 2021. Great markings and colors. This little heifer will grow and potentially stay in the herd.

Spring 2021 pigs are on the ground.... so much color and so many choices. From birth to wean so far.

Did some rearranging today. Brought up two potential red gilts to join in the pig breeding program. Moved all the fat hogs too one big pen.

Brought home the cows and their calves from pasture and started weaning process. Got the steers and bull pen cleaned up.

Thought I would update as its been awhile.not much new activity right now.

Here are some updates on the old funny farm. There are now 2 litters of piglets with 23 piglets total today and 2 calves. 1 all red bull calf and 1 red and white heifer. The calves are coming up on 2 months old and looking great!!

We have a couple pigs not spoken for January so let me know if your interested in a pig. Marks locker or edgewood locker.
I believe there is still 1/2 beef not spoken for as well that goes in January to marks locker.

Say hello to this little bull calf. First time momma and she has done awesome. We have officially added miniature Hereford breeding to our list with this little guy coming today.

We have officially begun raising our pigs from start to finish. Today Marks the first time on our little farm we farrowed piglets. Look at these 12 little guys, it was pretty darn exciting moment.

So it has been awhile since we have used this page. It took a little more time to get us started and going then anticipated. Here are some updates to our little farm.
Samson is our mini hereford bull. (Red/white)
Cricket is a mini/hereford/dexter cross cow she is set to calve in early may. (White)
Ruby is a min herford,/ dexter cross also. She is the red cow. This will be her first calf and she is expected in early may as well.
