City of Walker Animal Control We also protect pets from abuse, neglect and homelessness. We provide the best care available for all of the stray animals that enter our facility.

Our mission is to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of people and pets in the Walker community, and reduce the dangers and nuisances caused by irresponsible pet ownership. All those who leave our shelter have their age-appropriate vaccinations, de-worming and flea-prevention treatments and have been spayed or neutered. We strive to educate the public in responsible pet ownership and find loving responsible homes for our unwanted and abused pets.
