"Why we do what we do." 💛

"What I am about to say is coming from the mom what would rather take her dogs with her than leave them with someone.

We have two schnauzers that we would take with us to Virginia about once a month. With our parents health declining it became harder and harder to care for them and gives the pups the care they needed. We decided to try Mountain View Kennels to see how they would do. Audrey and Terry welcomed my babies like they were their own. Yes. I would love for them to stay home and in their beds but my husband and I do believe this is the next best thing to them being home with us.

Fast forward to them going to MVK for almost two years, we have rescued a two year old doodle that was tortured in a crate and beaten. I had so much anxiety about leaving him with anyone. Audrey called me numerous times to talk to us about how to introduce him to them and the kennels. She and Terry have eased my anxiety about him being there. Now he has a blast playing there.

I cannot thank Audrey and Terry (and the rest of the MVK staff) enough for their love and support! It means so much to us that we can drop them off for the day, for a trip to VA to see our parents, or leave the country for a vacation and not worry."
