Pogo’s Pack Crew,

As we head into a period of extreme heat, your pets’ health and safety are our top priority.

Due to the upcoming heat wave, Pogo’s Pack will be adjusting all walks to brief potty breaks only. The remaining visit time will be spent indoors for cool-down, playtime, cuddles, enrichment activities, and fresh water breaks. This is to ensure your pets stay safe from heat-related illnesses and hot surfaces.

⚠️ Reminder of Heat Safety for Pets:

~No hot pavement – If it’s too hot for our bare feet, it’s too hot for theirs. You can check the pavement with your bare hand.
~No prolonged outdoor activity – We’ll keep exertion to a minimum.
~Hydration is key – We’ll ensure your pet has access to fresh water.
~Watch for signs of heat stroke – Excessive panting, discolored gums, and lethargy are warning signs.

Thank you for trusting me with your beloved pets. These precautions are in place to keep them safe, healthy, and happy through the summer heat.
