Tender steak. Creamy potatoes. A loaded steakhouse dinner made effortlessly.
This slow-cooked meal combines garlicky butter and ultra-creamy ranch for a rich, flavor-packed dish that takes almost no effort to throw together in your crockpot!
The Essentials:
2 lbs sirloin steak (cubed) & 5 Yukon gold potatoes (diced)
1 cup heavy cream & 1 packet ranch seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese & 3 tbsp melted butter
4 cloves minced garlic & salt/black pepper to taste
The Game Plan:
Prep It: Toss the diced potatoes right into the bottom of your crockpot and sprinkle them generously with the ranch seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Layer It: Place the cubed sirloin steak directly on top of the potatoes and scatter the minced garlic evenly over everything.
Pour It: Drizzle the heavy cream and melted butter all over the steak and potato mixture to lock in that rich moisture.
Cook It: Cover it up and let it cook on Low for 6–7 hours (or High for 3–4 hours) until the potatoes are perfectly fork-tender.
Melt It: Give everything a gentle stir, sprinkle the shredded cheddar heavily over the top, and cover again just until the cheese is flawlessly melted. (Pro tip: add crispy bacon bits and chopped green onions on top for a fully loaded steakhouse vibe!)
Garlicky. Cheesy. Completely over the top.
