We’ve talked a lot about back-to-school this month, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention safety. Keep those backpacks and lunchboxes out of reach. Top school-related toxins include:

⚠️ Snacks: grapes and raisins, macadamia nuts, onions, moldy food and gum (which can contain xylitol)
⚠️ Common medications: ADHD medications, albuterol inhalers, OTC medications such as NSAIDs and acetaminophen
⚠️ Science or craft projects: baking soda, play dough or salt dough and homemade slime, especially in high amounts
⚠️ Cold packs used to keep food cool
Illicit drugs and synthetic ma*****na
