Wake Forest Animal Hospital

Wake Forest Animal Hospital Wake Forest Animal Hospital is a privately-owned, full-service veterinary hospital staffed by animal lovers.

Wake Forest Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital providing pet exams, vaccinations, pet surgery, grooming and pet emergency care. With a experienced and friendly staff our office will make you and your pet feel welcome and confident in our veterinary services. We offer pet care for the communities of North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Louisburg, Wakefield, Franklinton, Henderson, Youngsv

ille, Oxford, Lake Gaston, Kerr Lake & Creedmoor NC. We’ve taken steps to make our pet patrons more comfortable. Cat nerves are kept a little calmer in our separate cat ward, away from loud, barking dogs. We know that an unhappy cat makes for an unhappy owner. The pooches appreciate our covered outdoor exercise area. Rain or shine, they can get some exercise and expend some of that energy. But it’s more than the surroundings that make our hospital comfortable, it’s the people. Our staff is comprised of true animal lovers, and your pet is the better for it. They’ll receive the kind of attention that they’re used to at home. Ask any of our clients, everyone at Wake Forest Animal Hospital has an excellent bedside manner. Everyone at Wake Forest Animal Hospital loves what they do and it shows. You and your pet will leave with a smile (they can smile; we've seen them!).

Keep your pet healthy from the inside out! 🐾
Preventive care isn’t just about vaccines. Routine testing helps catch health issues early and keeps your pet protected all year long.
Here are three key wellness checks every pet needs:
🩸 Bloodwork – Detects early signs of illness like kidney or liver disease, diabetes, and infections, even if your pet seems perfectly healthy. It also gives us a baseline to monitor their health over time.
💩 F***l Exams – Screens for hidden parasites like roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, tapeworms, and Giardia. Recommended 2 to 4 times in the first year for puppies and kittens, and twice a year for adult pets.
❤️ Heartworm Testing – Heartworm disease is serious and potentially fatal. It’s spread by mosquitoes, so even indoor pets are at risk. Annual testing ensures your pet is free of infection and safe to continue monthly prevention. It also screens for common tick-borne diseases like Lyme, making it an essential step to keep them protected.
Not sure what your pet is due for? Call us at 📞 {{clinic_phone_number}} and we’ll help create a care plan tailored to their needs!
