Misconception - “Handfed” does NOT mean a bird won’t fly away.
A handfed bird may be more comfortable with humans — but instinct will always override training when they get scared.
One loud noise, sudden movements, gust of wind, or panic moment can send even the sweetest bonded bird flying.
Please don’t assume:
✦ “They love me enough to stay.”
✦ “They’ve never flown off before.”
✦ “They’re tame, so they’re safe outside.”
