We enjoyed a fun filled Friday night at Flying Change Farm’s Friday Night Lights! I am so pleased with the riders and horses for stepping out of their comfort zones and trying something new. We are definitely looking forward to the next Friday Night Lights!

Yesterday was PSR TooSauced ToLeap(Pumpkin)’s birthday. Horses don’t typically get birthday presents. However Pumpkin received the best gift, her very own kid!

Congratulations Pumpkin and Clara Long! We are so excited to see not only how far you have come, but how far you will go!

We had a good time at the KJM Equestrian schooling show this weekend even though the weather cut it short. While not all of our riders were able to show we would like congratulate:

Our group had a great time at both the HJEO and OHJA year end awards banquets this month. I am so pleased with everyone’s progress in 2024 and can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store. Sister Rosita (~2016-2025)

Yesterday we laid an exceptional school pony to rest. Rosita developed a squamous cell tumor in her mouth. Unfortunately there are no treatment options for such a tumor and it was effecting her quality of life.

Rosita became a part of LamBanks Equestrian in June of 2020. Originally purchased to be a sale pony, Rosita progressed quickly with her training and soon became an indispensable member of the school horse string at Saddle Time. Rosita was loved by kids and adults alike. The barn will not be the same without hearing her sweet nicker politely asking for more treats.

Thank you Rosita for being so wonderful and kind. We are sorry our time together was so short. You will be missed.

Banquet information and ticket link:
$60 per person, all reservations are due by Jan 26. A very limited number of tickets will be available at the door with a late fee.

Doors open at 6, dinner and program will begin at 6:30. We will have a raffle with prizes, winners will be drawn throughout the evening. Raffle tickets will be $5 per ticket or $20 for 5 tickets.
