Last week our soils team traveled to El Reno, OK to compete in the National Land and Range Judging competition. Last week, Oklahoma had record setting rain so our dedicated team waded into pits to get some practice on some Oklahoma soils! All their hard work resulted in 57th out of well over a 100 teams! Congratulations to Madeline Broadway, Michael Chavious, Ellah Neeley, and Garrett Stone!

They worked hard, but we also had some fun while we were there too...

Career day at Busbe elementary was a success!
We had our officers Payton Earhart and Micheal Chavious come and talk about the FFA and careers in agriculture.

This week our Soil and Land Evaluation team competed in Cameron, SC, where they qualified for Nationals! In May they will be traveling to Oklahoma City to compete in the National Land and Range Evaluation Contest! Congratulations!

A few Wagener-Salley FFA students had a long weekend at the SC FFA Center attending Equine Camp! While there they were attended workshop where they learned about horse evaluation, breeds, wild horses of the US, equine first aid, and even got to go for a trail and beach ride. Here are some shots of a lot of learning as well as a lot of fun!

Today, the Wagener-Salley FFA Soil Evaluation team traveled to Alcolu, SC to compete in the Soil Evaluation CDE and did not come home empty handed! They worked hard and have sealed their spot at the state contest! Wish them luck as the prepare and compete in the coming weeks. Congratulations to Michael, Ellah, Madeline, and Garrett! Good luck guys!
