This is definitely not the post I wanted to make today. Pushing back a launch is never something I want to do, but family will always come first.

Many of you saw my story earlier this week about Brian’s mom, and I sincerely thank each of you that reached out and offered prayers and kind words. Things are very fluid with her recovery right now so we are functioning on a day-by-day basis. So to be completely transparent I just haven’t had the mental and physical capacity to prep the site for this launch.

Although we had to reschedule, there’s a silver lining also. Because that gives me time to prep and photograph some of the remaining summer styles we have left! So in addition to the fall styles launching, we’ll also be putting quite a bit of marked down styles up on the site as well.

Thank you for your understanding and patience with everything going on with our family right now and the need to reschedule the fall launch. Keep an eye on stories this weekend to get some sneak peeks of styles that will be launching!

Today was spent hanging out in Grizzly Ridge at the Akron Zoo for their summer Wild Market! There’s nothing quite like getting to walk thru the zoo while setting up before it opens to the public and getting to see animals waking up for the day - the otter stretches were so freaking adorable!!!

Thank you to everyone that stopped by to make a purchase, offer kind words about my work or even just to chat! My dragon earrings have led to so many chats recently about next month’s Threshing Day release, and I’ve loved every minute of them! Eeek I can’t wait!!!

We soft launched some of our new fall styles this weekend and there’s definitely a best seller! And I’m not even a little bit shocked about which one it was! Can’t wait to show you the full collection soon! They’ll be making their way to our retail locations this week also!!!

Vermilion Beach Market you were an absolute dream! Thank you to everyone that patiently waited in the line of traffic just to get in and then braved the August heat to come out and support so many businesses and vendors in the most beautiful lakeside setting! And can we talk about the views!? How lucky are we to have beautiful Lake Erie be so close! Just listen to how truly serene it is!

Thank you Anne and also to your incredibly kind team of rockstars for having us this weekend! We are so grateful to have been part of the market’s 10th year and would love to be back next year!

And thank you to everyone that purchased or gave the kindest compliments to our fun coastal designs and themed products! Getting to chat with you all is always my favorite part of any market!

Now to rest before launching into full fall production mode tomorrow!
