THREE FLUFFY NEW FACES!

Meet Iris, Eva, and Echo, three beautiful long-haired kittens born July 7, 2026 and ready to start looking for their forever families!

🐾 Iris is a female with a mostly white coat, adorable black spots, and lots of fluff.

🐾 Eva is a female long-haired tabby with beautiful white markings.

🐾 Echo is a male long-haired tabby and white with a seriously handsome little face.

Each kitten is available for adoption individually, so they do not need to go home together, but I am sure they would love to go home with a friend.

If you have room in your home for a fluffy new family member (or two or three), take a look at Iris, Eva, and Echo and submit an adoption application.

Thank you to Bryson in celebrating his birthday this year ( for third year ) with donations for our cats instead of gifts for himself. We are beyond grateful for your generosity as well as all your supporters. Friend Leo made online payment of $20 for food. Friend Fox and another friend gave $40 cash to purchase food. Another friend purchased a bag off our website to support our cats. A 2-YEAR GOTCHA DAY UPDATE FROM MARCO!

We LOVE getting updates like this!

Some of our longtime followers might remember Marco, formerly known as Mr. Meow. Marco came to Fat Cat as part of our Fox Lake group, along with several related cats.

Our volunteer and foster Julia helped Marco’s mom, Mary, through the adoption process, and Mary recently reached out with an important milestone.

Marco celebrated his TWO-YEAR Gotcha Day!

Mary reports:

“Today is Marco’s 2-year I gotcha date! He has become a fat cat that can no longer fit underneath the couch. It could be because he’s eating too many snacks from my cabinet haha.”

MEET GEORGIA!

Georgia has finished raising her babies. Now it’s finally Mama’s turn to find her family.

This beautiful 1-year-old tabby was found outside while pregnant. She came to Fat Cat Rescue, had her kittens in safety, raised her little family, and is now ready to start the next chapter of her own life.

And Georgia LOVES people.

• She rubs all over you for attention.
• She wants to be petted approximately 24 hours a day.
• She is incredibly sweet and affectionate.
• She would love a home where she gets plenty of love and attention.

We aren’t sure how Georgia feels about other cats yet. She may be happiest as a single kitty where she gets her people all to herself. If her new family has another cat, she will need a very slow and patient introduction.

Georgia took care of her babies. Now we’d love to find someone who will take care of her for the rest of her life. ❤️

Meet Bitzy & Babs!

These sweet sisters are still waiting for someone to fall in love with BOTH of them. And once you meet them, we think you'll understand why they belong together.

Born April 1, 2026, Bitzy and Babs are a bonded pair with two different personalities.

🖤 Bitzy, the house panther, is the outgoing sister. She's playful, vocal, affectionate, and loves curling up in her foster's lap for pets and cuddles.

🤎 Babs, the tabby, is the quieter sister. She's more reserved when meeting new people, but she's coming out of her shell more and more. Having her confident sister nearby helps her feel safe.

Together, they make such a sweet pair. They play, grow, and experience life side by side. Their forever home needs room for TWO.

FILL THE BOWLS FRIDAY - HELP NEEDED TO FEED OUR 300+ CATS! Thank you for all your continued support. ❤😻❤

We continue to be critically low on canned Friskies Pate. Our "food for rescues" supplier had NO canned food available in August. We still do not know if they will have some available in September. 🙏🙏
Our 300+ residents get wet food at least once a day in addition to their dry chow.

Happy tails, Ms. Lucy! 🏡

Lucy never made it to our website, but she found the loving home she was waiting for. She couldn’t be happier! She is already making friends with the resident cats and giving plenty of love to her new family.

Thank you to her foster, Kathy, for caring for Lucy and helping her reach this happy day. Have the best life, sweet girl!
