Something fun... be very careful when moving certain corals not seen very often in the hobby. This specific sting lasted a week! Gloves were worn but the flesh brushed up on the skin causing welts.

Always wear gloves and glasses even if you think you're invincible while fragging coral- it can sneak up on you. ;-)

We will just say the " barbs" were out on this one and very healthy. Good "PE" and growth, though.
Beautiful coral to have nontheless...

Here's a very beginner friendly chalice. It's the Hollywood stunner chalice as it's sometimes called. If you put it a bit lower than normal as for light, it will swirl and reach upward similar to montipora capricornus, but just give it better light anyway. It grows very fast and will eventually spiral as a larger colony.

Great beginner coral to test the waters- good indicator for calcium levels similar to birdsnests white tips.

Come to the shop sometime- we have other fun corals to test things such as lighting with snake polyps, plenty of leather corals, and collector pieces!

We have a nice strain of Yuma in stock at the shop! Yet another classic we've been growing for several years!
Here it is observed under Kessil 360 x lights full blue, purple plus t5, and a coral plus t5.
