Please make sure your medication requests are in by tomorrow by 12:00pm to ensure your pet has what they need before the long weekend. We’re glad Wadena escaped the significant weather. We apologize for abrupt closure. However, we need to do what is safe for our clients and staff alike, especially when that type of weather can change in an instant! Luckily, we were able to finish all but one appointment today.

(It sure is an eerie feeling hearing the sirens go off almost to the exact anniversary of the devastating Wadena tornado many years ago!)

Larissa spent part of her internship with us completing various surgical and dental skills! Of course she did fabulous and now she has officially graduated!

Larissa is now officially a full-time veterinary technician with our Internal Medicine department and we are so happy to have her skills on our team!

RRAEH partnered with Penn Foster College in 2021 to offer the Student Technician Program to our employees, allowing students to earn their AVMA-CVTEA accredited degree! We are so excited to grow this program and to celebrate even more graduates in the future....

It’s very crucial to make sure dogs and puppies are vaccinated!

Make sure your four legged friend is up to date on their shots. Puppies should complete a vaccine series. They are not considered fully vaccinated with only one initial vaccine on board!

A parvovirus outbreak in Fargo-Moorhead has infected puppies in multiple households. Vets urge vaccinations, saying the virus is highly contagious and deadly.

Our technician is now offering the following services for pets that have a current examination with our veterinarian and a current rabies vaccination. These services are in our wadena office!

Services include:

- Nail trims
- Expressing a**l glands
- Ear Cleaning (restrictions apply)
- Blood Draws
- Tech Consults/Demos (demo on how to trim nails, give insulin injections, clean ears, etc. -a pet can be provided for demos if you cannot bring yours in.)
-Cold Laser Therapy
-Phovia Light Treatments
-Booster shots (restrictions apply)
-Minor Mat Shaving/Sanitary Shaves (tolerant pets only - NO FULL SHAVES OR GROOMING OFFERED)

Please note: No walk-ins are accepted. We do still practice fear-free protocols. If our technician is unable to complete the service due to high patient stress, you may be asked to reschedule with a different approach next visit!
