Maple is the alpha mare on the farm. Once a wild Mustang; now the Queen of French Farms. She makes sure the herd stays safe in their daily adventures and most importantly, that everyone around her knows it’s her world and we’re all just living in it. She’s incredibly playful, adventurous and has one of the biggest personalities on the farm! She’s the perfect blend of sugar and spice and we couldn’t imagine life without her. We love you Maple!

💛🌟Huckleberry🌟💛

Huck is playful, curious and full of personality- always making us laugh! Huck is the official job foreman of Freedom Reins. Any project happening on the property, Inspector Huck is right there making sure it’s up to standards. Have a plan for work you need to get done? Huckleberry sized traffic lies ahead. He truly lights up our life with his heart and coat of gold and we’re grateful to have him as part of the family!

We spent the weekend wrapping up some big projects before lessons start this week! Outdoor arena is 95% done; just have to hang the gate tomorrow! Our bathing area is all set for students to hose down after lessons or give their horses a bath. It’s surreal watching our vision come together one piece at a time.

Welcome to Freedom Reins Occupational Therapy, PLLC!

Freedom Reins Occupational Therapy, PLLC was built from a dream of creating an inclusive, safe and supportive environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to learn and develop their horsemanship skills. We aim to inspire and empower individuals with emotional, intellectual and physical disabilities while providing financially accessible, high quality programs. Freedom Reins offers an integrated farm and community setting and values the influence of this environment on engagement and participation in meaningful occupations.

Programming at Freedom Reins is run by Lily Cultrara, a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist and a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through PATH Intl.

Current programming includes:
•Freedom Reins Horsemanship Program
•Harmony in Horsemanship
•Strides to Success
•Freedom Reins Vocational Program
•Beginner to advanced lessons
•Art on the Farm

A year ago we temporarily closed, moved five hours away to a small town in the North Country and began transforming our property into a little slice of heaven for the horses. As of June 6th, 2026 we will officially be reopen for business and scheduling clients!!! This has been quite the journey and we couldn’t have done it without Donny’s hard work and support.
