Well the long awaited Peach picking is here.
First though some information to make things go easier for you and us.
1. CASH ONLY--- PLEASE SMALL BILLS ONLY
2. CLOSED TOE SHOES SHOULD BE WORN
3. PLEASE TWIST FRUIT TO REMOVE......DO NOT PULL AS THIS WILL CAUSE OTHERS TO FALL.
4. PARKING IS ALLOWED IN DRIVEWAY AND OR ON EITHER END OF PROPERTY, AS WELL AS THE ROAD, BUT ONLY ON ONE SIDE, AS EMERGENCY VEHICLES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS THROUGH.
5. THERE IS NO ENTRANCE FEE
6. WE DO HAVE SOME BOXES BUT IF POSSIBLE BRING SHALLOW BOXES. STACKING OR PUTTING IN BAGS BRUISES THE FRUIT.
7. PLEASE COME INTO GARAGE AND GET INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE HEADING OUT TO THE ORCHARD.
8. WE WILL HAVE PINT JARS OF HONEY ($20) FROM OUR BEE'S.
9. IF PEACHES ARE HARD, DO NOT PICK AS THEY NEED FURTHER RIPENING AND WE WILL OPEN ANOTHER DAY AS SOON AS THEY ARE READY.

WE WILL BE OPEN THIS SATURDAY, MAY 17TH FROM
9 AM TO 2 PM PEACHES ARE $1.25 LB.

Hi everyone. It's been a hectic winter, spring trying to trim trees and get ready for Peach 🍑 season. I have good news and bad. The bad first. Again this year several trees did not produce any peaches. Those that did have peaches they were only half the tree. We are stumped as to why this happened for 2nd time. We will be reaching out to see if someone with knowledge of fruit trees can help us.
Due to this we most likely will only have a one day picking. Due to cooler weather temps it's taken longer for them to ripen. We expect a week or two of warmer weather will ripen them. I will post as soon as they are ready. I did find 3 or 4 that were ripe and the taste was awesome.
So be patient and be ready. No open toe shoes, if you can bring shallow containers that would be helpful but we will have some containers available. Please be respectful of our Orchard. People have left plastic water bottles and soiled disposable baby diapers in the Orchard.
As always we look forward to all of you having a fun filled day picking Peaches, feeding the cows and checking out the chickens, ducks, geese and tortoises. The honey lady will be here to sell the honey from our hives.

You know what would be a nice gift to bring to the hostess if your invited for Thanksgiving or Christmas celebration.
Our very own local honey right from our Orchard. I have plenty of quart jars and two honeycombs on hand here. Just let me know if you would
like any. $18 for jar $10 for honeycomb

Last Day at Arrowhead Farmer's Market. 9 to1
Go see Jim today and stock up on Pomegranates. If your going to a family Thanksgiving, Pomegranates would be a nice gift.
If any left we will be open tomorrow. I will post later this afternoon if it's a go for tomorrow.

Farmers Market at CanyonView HS was slow so we have 3 crates of Poms left. Going for 2/$1.00. Please message me if interested and we can set up day and time to pick up at our farm.
Jim will do one more Farmer's Market this Sat. 16th, at Arrowhead Mall behind Fudruckers 9am to 1pm

We have almost sold out, so this will be last day @ J and J Poms. Jim will still be at Arrowhead Mall on Sat 9am to 1pm and Sunday at Canyon View High School same hrs. This most likely be our last weekend at the mall and school.
