Mercymee gave birth to this beautiful female cria on April 28.

Notice that they both share the marking of a white right front leg and are mostly black otherwise. Typically the cria appearance does not follow the mom so distinctly🥰.

Stop in at Farm Babies at the MN Zoo to see ZooLla, Perido and their new crias!

🦙 Farm Babies officially begins at the Minnesota Zoo next weekend, April 25th. But some of us just can't wait that long! 😆 A cria was born to llama mama “Zoolla” on March 29. Keepers report the cria is healthy, happy, and spunky. You can visit her and the rest of the farm friends this season! Stay tuned for future Farm Baby arrival updates!

Carlson’s Llovable Llamas began collaborating with the Minnesota Zoo in 2019 for a special exhibit, Llama Trek. ZooLla was born at the zoo during that first year exhibit. This week, ZooLla birthed her own cria at the MN Zoo. This pretty little girl weighed in at 27.5 lbs. These two, along with another mama llama waiting to give birth, will be part of the Farm Babies feature at the starting April 25.
After Farm Babies, they join the rest of the herd at Llama Trek for the summer!

L👀k what happened today 💙
Sprinkles had her male cria today around noon, 25.5 lbs. Two hours old and already finding a buddy!
The two little guys are 10 days apart in age.
Fun Fact: Sprinkles was born at the Minnesota Zoo during the first year of Llama Trek in 2019.
