It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Hanky's passing 💔
We had been watching a growth on his leg over the last two years, and I noticed it rapidly grew from October to December. The Monday of Christmas week, we received the news that our sweet boy had cancer. Over the next two weeks, his growth started changing colors, and nothing about it was good. He was in pain, so we made the hardest decision to put him to sleep on Monday, January 5th.
I keep telling myself that we did the best thing for him, but the guilt I feel is so heavy. My heart is hurting badly, and our house is too quiet without him. He was truly one of a kind, and I'm grateful for the 7 years we had with him. ❤️
