Did you know... nearly 6 million dogs and cats are in animal shelters and rescues waiting for their chance to experience the happiness of a forever home? Tragically, more than half a million of those animals in shelters will be euthanized before they find their slice of happiness.

August is "Clear the Shelters Month" and many rescues & shelters have adoption events that include reduced adoption fees and special "meet and greet" days. This makes it a great time to become a first-time pet parent or to add another face to your fur family.

Don't forget that Freddie's Place isn't just an Urgent Care Veterinary Hospital... we can also be your everyday wellness veterinarian! Freddie's Place is family owned and operated. This means that our team has no quotas, no targets, and no corporate bosses sitting in an office making arbitrary decisions based on the bottom line alone.
This allows our team to put patients before profits, to work on diagnosis and treatment at an always fair price, and to care for each beloved pet as if they are a part of our family. Simply said, we love our patients and work hard to keep costs down while providing a special brand of compassionate care.

The Best Care Anywhere is coming to Oceanside!! Freddie's Place is under construction with a target of this fall to open the doors to Oceanside pet Loving families. We're currently installing our special brand of Compassionate Care, adding in our Always Fair Pricing, making sure the snacks and drinks are stocked in the parent and pet friendly lobby, and that all the best parts of the current Vista location are present and ready to WOW. Soon, we'll be asking Oceanside fur kid parents one very important question...

It's finally here... the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Dog Days of Summer opens at 10am and winds to a close at 3pm. So much to see and do, don't you dare miss it.
