We’re so grateful to be considered for this fundraiser! Make sure to mark your calendars to attend this fun night!🥰🥳
Visalia Vintage & Antiques is excited to announce that a big holiday event is approaching! And the great news is you’re all invited! The weekend before Thanksgiving, please get ready for our much-anticipated Sip ‘n Shop scheduled for Saturday, November 22nd, from 4-7 p.m., featuring, for the first time, Visalia’s Salty Walrus Brewing Co., and our returning partner Kaweah Brewing Co., along with a local non-profit organization since 1991, the Valley Oak SPCA, who will directly benefit for this one special evening.
Christian Carter and Will Peltzer, the two founders of Salty Walrus, launched a brewery location in late May of this year at 2415 E. Valley Oaks Drive in Visalia will have two of the brewery’s signature beers at our Sip ‘n Shop event for attendees to taste. The first will be one called “I’ve Seen Better Haze,” a juicy and smooth IPA with very low bitterness and all the flavors of citrus plus pineapple. Salty Walrus’s second choice will be their Blonde Ale with an amusing title, “Third Blonde’s A Charm.” We feel confident you will enjoy the beer! Will Peltzer is not only the company’s head brewer, but is a gold medal-winning brewer recognized by the 2023 Great American Beer Festival for their Hazy/Juicy IPA category.
To add even more to the mix, owners of Kaweah Brewing Co., Kenny and Mary Hildebrand, will be providing a Seltzer for our attendees. Kaweah is a local favorite that opened in Tulare over twelve years ago, offering great-tasting beers that have kept people coming back and have earned multiple awards. The Hildebrands also operate the Taproom & Restaurant and Howie & Son’s Pizza Parlor, both in Visalia, as well as their latest venture, Raven Ranch Distilling Co. & Kaweah Brewing, located in Exeter, formerly known as Rocky Hill Brewing.
Please note that you must be 21 years of age to be served alcoholic beverages. Additionally, Visalia Vintage will be serving complimentary delicious appetizers to patrons throughout the evening. There is no cost to attend this event, and it is open to the public. Any donations received will be 100% directly given to the Valley Oak SPCA, which we believe is a great cause.
Valley Oak Mission
As a nonprofit since 1991, Valley Oak SPCA’s no-kill rescue mission is to provide shelter, adoption services, low-cost veterinary care, and community education to eliminate the suffering of companion animals.
We can’t wait to see you on Saturday, November 22nd!
