🐶 This sweet mama dog and her two puppies are currently in the care of Tulare Animal Services, and we’re hoping to bring them into the Valley Oak SPCA family. ❤️

🥺 To make that happen, we urgently need a foster home for this little family. We’ll provide all supplies, food, and medical care needed while they’re in your care AND mama dog is house trained!

Motor Oil was found inside an engine!🚗🔧

🙀In fact, this tiny 2-month-old kitten was so determined to stay tucked away that it took FOUR firefighters to rescue him!!🚒👨‍🚒👨‍🚒👨‍🚒👨‍🚒

😼He has since retired from his automotive adventures and spends his time doing important kitten business: attacking blankets, chasing invisible enemies, and testing the speed limits of every room he enters. 💨🐱

🏁He’s fueled by attention, powered by mischief and ready to find his forever family. 🫶

😞 This 5-month-old Shar Pei puppy is currently battling parvovirus. Our medical team is giving her everything she needs to fight, but we need your help. 🥺

✅ Upper respiratory vaccine
✅ Pain medication to go home
✅ E-collar for recovery

⏰ Evening appointments!
📥 Drop-off: 3:00 PM
📤 Pick-up: 7:00 PM

Requirements:
• Male cats only
• Approximately 4 months old and at least 4 pounds
• Must have BOTH testicles descended (non-cryptorchid)
• Friendly cats must arrive in a secure carrier
• Feral or fearful cats must arrive in a humane trap (no exceptions)

🐜 If fleas are present at check-in, a fast-acting flea treatment will be administered to protect all patients in our clinic.

➕ Additional services available for an extra fee:
Microchipping, deworming, flea prevention, nail trims, diagnostic testing, and more.

Take advantage of our late evening appointment opportunities to get your pet vaccinated after work! 🐾✨ We’re offering convenient Monday evening vaccine appointments from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. this month to help fit busy schedules. ⏰💉

A quick reminder for our brachycephalic breeds (such as French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, and other short-nosed pets): 🐶💛 we strongly recommend avoiding outdoor travel or car rides when temperatures are over 85°F ☀️🔥, as these pets are at higher risk for heat stress and heat stroke. 🚨 For their safety and comfort, we recommend scheduling appointments during the early morning hours 🌅 whenever possible on hot days.
