Yesterday's lesson at 4pm not the whole lesson but the ending. We played get the tennis ball into milk can. Then we did a controlled trott.

Breed is Morgan also we started calling her Morgan because of her breed and it just stuck
she was born 2018
She has been the sweetest horse to ever train never even offered a buck, she does what is asked, a very intelligent mare that is not mareish. Her foal came out very big and packed with muscle. No complications at birth.
Morgan has worked cattle, soccer, some gymkhana , lessons to teach all riders. First time I took her out to check cows as a young mare we had a sick one that needed to be gotten in and Morgan mastered sorting that cow from herd with no problem and no pre training prep work in cattle, her foal shows alot of her same quilties and would make an excellent cow horse someday with her mama's instincts.

Some photos a parent got of her kids doing lessons, with their permission I am sharing a glimpse into our lesson today with Jess and Mickey. Today we worked on one rein stop, direct reining and how to use split reins.

1 Mickey beginner safe for 16 years old and up due to his height. More direct rein then neckrein.

2 Rosie on break from lessons til we weaned foal
However she is the kids safe beginner horse
Neckrein or direct rein.

3 Morgan on break from lessons til we weaned foal.
However she is beginner safe kids and adults
Neckrein with leg pressure, does direct rein but prefer riders to Neckrein her.

4 Mister retired can be a lead pony for Littles under 5 years old. No more trail rides.

5 Olaf for beginner kids and small adults. Neckrein. No kick leg pressure

6 Trix for beginner adults and beginner kids.
Neckrein, no kick, leg pressure

7 Diamond rode for advanced beginner at walk or trott. No lope. Neckrein, no kick leg pressure.

8 Wildfire beginner rider who wants a slow horse. Direct rein.

9 Jess for experienced riders who have rode alot. Neckrein and direct rein.
