What a fun, albeit hot, event this past weekend. Thank you everyone who came to our Shipps Corner’s Mischief Managed Qualifier . 18 new titles were earned from DJ all the way up to DSX9. Thank you Honey Snuggles (my apologies as I cannot tag you for some reason) for making our themed qualifier ribbons! If you are local and qualified you can pick your ribbon up at Shipps Corner Pet Spa after you message and hear back from Dani to ensure that it will be on site or you can pick them up at our next event, July 11-13.
Our awesome photographer was Tyler Hart Photography. Please give him time to go through the around 10,000 images that he captured but he is hoping to have them available Friday afternoon. Tyler will be our photographer again at our event in two weekends. Our next event, Shipps Corner’s Just Keep Swimming, has preregistration closing July 4th at midnight which inconceivably is this Saturday. We have plenty of availability for on-site registration, however, preregistering saves you $5 per splash.

For anyone going to NADD Nationals volunteers are needed. Volunteers get snacks and waters during their shifts. The best part of volunteering is meeting other competitors and their dogs and making friends all around the country and Canada. If you are interested in something more tangible, volunteers earn raffle tickets for raffles that are just for volunteers. Facilities, NADD, vendors, and individuals send raffle baskets filled with wicked awesome things including free splashes, boos, canine massage, and so much more. I personally have won televisions, an underwater camera, and many other smaller ticket items.
