Oldenburg Gelding

⭐️⭐️⭐️His most recent show, he won both days and received high score with a 73.6% and 74.8% at training level⭐️⭐️⭐️

Serendipity, affectionately called "George," is a beautiful coming five year old bay gelding, by Sensation x Lord Sinclair.

George is talented enough for a professional, yet sensible for a capable amateur. He has big, ground covering, easy to sit gaits. He was imported from Germany in 2023.

After arriving stateside, he was patiently started under saddle, and is now very appropriately schooling first and second level with a Grand Prix trainer. He has a very good extended trot by nature, and excellent balance and self carriage. He has competed at a few different Region 1 shows, consistently in the 70's at training level. He is a joy to take to a horse show, he trailers easily, and is well behaved.

If his exceptional gaits aren't enough, Georgie also has a stellar personality. He loves to be in your pocket, groomed, and loved on. He is easily a barn favorite, and he has never so much as pinned his ears at another horse.

George would do well with a capable amateur in a program, and he is also more than talented enough for a professional looking for their next FEI prospect!

After arriving stateside, he was patiently started under saddle, and is now very appropriately schooling first level with an FEI trainer. He shows true potential to be a serious competitor. George competed in his first USDF recognized show in August 2024, scoring in the 70’s. He is a joy to take to a horse show, he trailers easily, and is very quiet for a young horse.

If his exceptional gaits aren't enough, Georgie also has a stellar personality. He loves to be in your pocket, groomed, and loved on. He is easily a barn favorite, and he has never so much as pinned his ears at another horse.

Late post.. but needless to say we are thrilled to have ended the year with a wonderful show at GAIGs! We are excited to be going to US Dressage Finals with one qualified team.

Thank you to all of our friends and teammates for making this year so memorable. We are incredibly grateful to be a part of such a supportive dressage community. We of course couldn’t do it without our spectacular dancing partners!

We have a couple of stall openings! Some training spots available too!

With only a few stalls available, this is a rare opportunity to be a part of a tight-knit team and barn family!

Now that we are finally back in the swing of things, we'd like to highlight our trip to Dressage at Lexington last week!

It was a scorching hot week full of triumphs, first-timers, and camaraderie. We had quite the group of horses - 11! Throughout the weekend, we had lots of excellent moments (and learning moments!) that showed true team work, good horsemanship, and determination.

Some exciting highlights from the weekend:

🔹Christie Cherry’s X-Calibur RS were awarded
Hugh Score First Level on Saturday, and were Champions at First Level, winning the Sport Horse Amateur Challenge!
🔸Elizabeth’s and Meadowbrooke's Get A Clue achieved their final Third level score towards Beth's bronze medal.
Congratulations to them on this great milestone!
🔹Diana Robertson and her Lusitano gelding,
Marialva CAL, moved up a level to Second and put in some great tests!

👏🏼Congratulations to ALL of our riders for their accomplishments and dedication to their horses.

Out there on the interwebs this month were three Facebook posts that caught my eye. One was on a sales group for dressage horses, where someone called trainers to task: “What is it with trainers these days? Particularly in the USA,” she wrote. “How come no one is willing to put in the effort t...

Despite the blazing temps at last weekends Dressage at the Park horse show, we put in some great rides and had a fantastic time!

Obsessive Dream bred by MJ Proulx of Canadream Farm continues to impress with scores to 74.6% at only his second time out at training level.

Brilliance and I continue to gain confidence in the Grand Prix winning both days and earning the FEI high score award with a 69.8% on Saturday!

Ishin Maru had a tough time with the sound of the water trucks filling directly behind the judge box on Saturday, leading to a tense ride, but we redeemed ourselves on Sunday with a 65.6% earning us a second place.

Thank you JSK photography for the wonderful moments captured, and to the Carolina Horse Park for putting on a great show!

Are you looking for a horse with loads of talent who can take you to FEI while also filling the role of “sweetest horse in the barn?” Georgie is it!

Georgie is a 2020 Oldenburg gelding. He was imported July 2023, and began light work once he settled in the US. George has three very good gaits. He is an elastic type horse, with excellent suppleness and self carriage.

Georgie recently competed in his first horse show in Raleigh, NC. He was very brave in a new environment, and he won his Materiale class!

Georgie will do best with a confident rider with an independent seat, either a professional, or an amateur working closely with a professional. He is not suitable for a beginner as he is forward thinking and sensitive.
