Today is Fluffy's Day... One year ago today, the most amazing dog to have lived was brutally taken from us. It was such a hard today. Thank you to everyone who came to support us that day, y'all meant so much. To the insensitive jerks at fault, I just wanted to thank you for having the maturity and humanity to come offer your apologies for our loss. That was caring of you, losers. Karma will come.

Yesterday marked 10 months. Still not a word from the neighbors responsible, all we hear is their pack of neglected Huskies fighting and whining. Later today, I'm going to revamp his gravesite. Luca still goes out to it, with or without us. It was funny - earlier this week, I was out there and of course Luca came out. I told him the gravesite was looking rough and we need to work on the landscaping. He started chewing off the grass/weedy stuff growing through the fence! I've never encountered such an amazing cat before. He sure loved his Fluffy.

Tomorrow marks 4 weeks since this Angel was ripped from our lives. Aside from my own anger, animosity, and heartbreak over the loss of my slice of heaven on earth, I've spent tonight holding His heartbroken mom... And if you ACTUALLY KNOW Suzy, you know that she is not so easily emotionally affected. This whole thing sucks... And the jerks responsible have not been so concerned to take a moment out of their lives to even acknowledge our loss.... And yet we suffer hearing their bitch in heat howling everyday and their dog that killed him barking ... RUDE!! I know it's animal nature, but suck it up buttercup and FU***NG APOLOGIZE!!!! It won't bring back the LIGHT of our life, but it might make us have less ill will towards you. Welcome to the neighborhood, as****es.

Lazy Sunday ... Not the same ... Not by a long shot. Giving it our best though - snuggling on the couch with a fire burning and Netflix on the tube. He would have it no other way.
