⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We felt incredibly lucky from the start to be the team Phoenix’s owner chose. We knew he had high standards and expectations, so knowing we exceeded them means more than we can put into words.

Training is a journey, and it takes consistency and a willingness to put in the work. But when you do, you get to experience the fruits of that labor.

At Crossfire K9, we take pride in every part of the experience, from the training and coaching to onboarding and graduation. We never wanted to just build a dog training business. We wanted to build a family and a community.

To Phoenix’s family, thank you for trusting us. This review means everything. ❤️

Meet Tessie! 🐾 This sweet girl is joining us for a Board & Train, and we’re excited to work with this family again after training their other pup!

We’ll be focusing on leash manners, socialization, jumping, leash reactivity, and prey drive while building the obedience and impulse control needed for safe off-leash freedom.

Our goal is to give Tessie more freedom while establishing the structure and reliability to keep everyone safe. We’re so grateful to her family for trusting us with their whole pack!

Food for thought, trainers tell you every day “change the emotion, change the behavior”

But what does that actually mean? Well that answer can change depending on who you ask but if you were to ask me I would say that in order to change the emotion you have to change the way the dog feels on a day to day basis first. What activities you do with your dog throughout each day that aren’t so goal oriented or results focused. What if you just don’t time being with your dog. What if you didn’t take your dog on a walk but you go on walks WITH your dog instead?

Is it okay to use punishment? Well yes absolutely but why would you start there? Your dog is more than their behaviors.

📣A new chapter for Crossfire K9.

After much thought, we’ve made the decision to officially retire our Board & Train program and shift our focus entirely to private lessons. *If you are currently booked with us, this does not affect you. We are booked until February.

As our private lesson program continues to grow, we believe this is the best way for us to help more dogs and families while creating a healthier work-life balance for our own family.

Thank you. 🙏🏼

What a journey this has been!!! It’s been an absolute blast working with Suzy (Siouxie) these last 6 weeks. I evaluated Suzie back in July and met her 4 times before bringing her into the board & train program. Suzy struggled with fear based reactivity/aggression before training but now she’s looking towards people and dogs as an opportunity for socialization. We still have work to do but this is how far she’s come so far! Next steps involve alot of owner follow up and group socialization in our social club! Thank you for watching our journey!!!!

Everyone, meet Rex! 🐾

This 2-year-old Aussie will be working with Trainer Jordan, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Jordan as part of the Crossfire K9 team!

Together, they’ll be working toward reliable off-leash freedom by building a strong relationship, creating fulfillment through purposeful work and play, and establishing the structure and communication Rex needs to succeed. We’ll also be addressing leash pulling along the way.

We’re excited to see what this team accomplishes! At Crossfire K9, we believe the right relationship, clear communication, and purposeful training can make all the difference.
