I am often asked, "what can I do to help?"
There are several things everyone can do to be helpful in an event like Goat Expo. (link available to the SPONSOR LIST on the page)
Become part of the team, if you would like to be hands on in the event. You may contact anyone on our advisory committee/board, that prepares for the event each year.
We have a really fun goat family and it is inviting and inclusive. It takes many people to cover everything and keep the event running smoothly. We look for ways to improve by what others suggest, and always have a need for a willing heart to make the event a success each year.
Becoming a Sponsor for a prize or event during Goat Expo is another way to help. We try to recognize the work that goes into a breeders or exhibitors project and herd. Recognizing those achievements as breeders/exhibitors have their stock compared, is part of what we enjoy. These are great memories and wonderful achievements. Providing those recognition prizes is expensive, your help in sponsoring is very much appreciated.
We are preparing for 2025 and it will be a whirl wind, focused on production (dairy and meat) stock, youth showmanship and preparation, and fiber with hands-on learning. Lincoln University and the University of Missouri Extension return for the 6th year. A schedule will be posted soon.
Thank you to all that make this work year in and year out, this is our 7th year coming up.
A reminder of what the Goat Expo is about, it is an opportunity for the Goat Industry to come together and be united in what needs to happen for the industry overall.
We have seen more people purchase and get involved in other breeds, at this event, because they had access to them and saw something they liked.
We know the idea of the event works. We want you to become part of the Goat Expo Family.
