Thank you for all of the love and support and condolences for the loss of our beautiful Chase. It was great to hear from some old friends-after 10 years of doing this, let’s face it we are blessed to be old friends. Your words bring so much comfort.
When dogs become acutely ill at the end of their life requiring around the clock care, sometimes the burden of grief is heavier, simply because your time is freed up. Chase was the opposite as I said in the beginning he was never left alone or unsupervised primarily staying with me 24/7. Overtime as he didn’t need to be supervised but we always would care for him at three in the afternoon. Aunt Holly would swing by and take him to her house for the day so while it wasn’t physical work, he required responsibility And Planning . Today from 1 PM until.about to 330 Chase was so heavy on my mind and in my heart, I’m not really free from the responsibility of his care. It’s more like I need to readjust in the burden of grief. He is worth all of it and I thank you all enough for your kindness your love and your support. Have a great evening, love you guys.

Today brings a tissue alert
Chase was gently assisted to the rainbow bridge with the help of Dr. Holland from Peaceful Transitions a return to Eden. He even had a mouth full of liverwurst before he took his last breath. Chase has been with us for 4 years.
He came to us with Cushing’s disease, stage B2 valvular heart disease and newly diagnosed and untreated diabetes. Chase’s heart disease never progressed. Just this Spring he became deaf and blind. His diabetes sure gave me a run for the money. Chase was always a good patient. He never complained about how many times he was stuck when he was sick and he tolerated receiving his insulin every eight hours as long as there was a snack involved.
He’s had many adventures and has always been a sweet and gentle being who would volunteer for just about anything whether it’s a walk through the mud or to star in a video on how to check respirations he always volunteered.
He will be known forever as a dog who would let you know at at least 30 minutes in advance for the approach of the 7 AM, 3 PM or 11 PM hour, that’s when he would eat and get his insulin. Every eight hours seven days a week he would get his 3 ounces of Allprovide gently cooked rabbit no matter what-
He will be missed forever by all of us, and he is reunited with so many of the monkey’s house pups that have gone before him in the past four years. He is the last of the three amigos (the other two the other two were Tiggy and Parcel)These three were never allowed out of sight as they weren’t stable and things could turn bad quickly-by being informed and prepared I was able to provide them with a very full life.
Every day Chase was a shining example of embracing a fresh start and being open to new possibilities. If Chase was a person, he would be described as always happy with an incredible sense of humor and timing.
Chase and I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Knight for her skill at navigating the health challenges he presented over the years.
Love you forever, Chase .

Hi…Aunt Tracey here. STOP what you are doing…Mouse needs an emergency belly rub! She dropped to the floor, rolled over and assumed the belly rub position. We are on it tiny one! When Mouse asks, we respond immediately. That face gets her whatever she wants, whenever she wants 💕.

Hello…Aunt Tracey here. This is Matty this morning yelling for his breakfast. His opinion is that it took way too long to make and serve. He won’t tolerate such slowness and says the meal delivery service needs to improve. Ok Matty, we hear you loud and clear. We will look to expedite things in order to meet your requirements and standards. Point taken! ❤️❤️

Lexie on the left and Rocky on the right❤️❤️
We now have two dogs here who have the need for emergency belly rubs. By now you have seen the video of Mouse, throwing herself on the ground. How we pick her up and kiss her and make a big deal of her. I can’t think of any who being has been let down more than her and who deserves to be spoiled beyond belief for the rest of her days. King now throws himself down. He has emergency belly rub demands and he doesn’t move until he gets them. He also won’t get up till he is happy with the random amount of belly rubs lol, it must be the air around here.
Have a good evening.

I was so happy that King was home yesterday and exhausted from the whole day I neglected to add some good things that we’re doing for him. King was neutered, Dr. Knight did inject him with PRP in his most arthritic points and we will be managing his pain very carefully, he had a much needed dental and got a shiny new microchip. As soon as he finds his manners he will start water therapy and cold laser. He is recovering nicely.
Much thanks to Aunts Holly, Terry, Sue and Janet who minded the pups today and kept them from ordering pizza lol. I had a bit of a much needed break.
Have a great evening.

Home safe and sound!
No evidence of bladder cancer but may have a prostate abscess. Heart issues are more lung issues. Severe arthritis in hips, sacrum and elbow. He had a dental. He has early kidney issues care. He was growling in recovery so Aunt Holly went in to get him. He is now home snoozing. Thank you for the prayers and well wishes.
As always, deep appreciation to Dr. Knight for working King into her schedule so quickly and working around me being almost an hour late. She did a great job at assessing King quickly and in a way that didn’t upset him.
Have a good evening. We are busy counting our blessings tonight.

King has been dripping blood for quite a while. Tomorrow he sees Knight on an empty stomach ready for what may be an emergency neuter. He will get a thorough exam first and have his heart and everything else checked out. It would be easier and faster if his behavior would improve it just takes time.
I’m confident he couldn’t be in better hands, but please keep in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Thank you and stay cool.

Hi All…Aunt Tracey here. This tiny one is the cutest…💕. She may be small, but she holds her own. She makes her demands known (mostly belly rubs) and we are quick to give her what she wants. How could we not with that adorable little face?! We have a lot of love for Mouse and we enjoy her immensely. 😍

King is showing off his excellent manners to Jeff demonstrating sit and paw. He did some local leashed exploration today. He isn’t quite up to Legend’s patrol route just yet but he will get there. King and I meet with Peet from Philly Unleashed (tabernacle) tomorrow. He is settling in well and meets our very own Dr. Knight on Wednesday.
Have a great evening.

Oh, JJ has a lot to say, but right now his month is full of hotdogs... that might be a good thing!
