3 Darling Draft Cross Babies ISO new homes

1.Haflinger/Belgian Cross Filly Born May 1 2023. Momma is a smaller haflinger and the Daddy was Belgian Stallion. I woukd guess estimated height would be between 15-16 hands.

2. 25% TB 25% Percheron 50% Belgian Filly Born April 20th 2023. Momma is an athletic, TB/Percheron mare who is a wonderful riding and driving horse. Daddy was Belgian Stallion. I would guess estimated height between 15.3-16.3 hands.

3. "Brandy" Belgian/Percheron Filly Born March 5 2022. Brandy is such a doll! She is already halter broke and has a good groundwork foundation. She leads, loads, stands tied and is easy to catch. Is doing very well learning to lunge, flex, move hips and shoulders, etc. Very Gentle, good minded filly who absolutely loves people! Momma was a smaller percheron mare, one of the most athletic draft horses I have ever rode! Daddy was Belgian Stallion. Estimated Height between 15-16 hands.

The two weanlings will come halter broke w/ two weeks groundwork.

It’s hard to find the whole package, especially in a pony… Here she is folks!

“Martini” is a coming 5yr old, 13hand, Draft cross pony. We don’t take it lightly calling her our wonder pony.

Martini was raised here at our farm and was started and has been trained on the last year by one of the most talented young riders I’ve come across.

She has been nothing but a pleasure to have here at the farm and has been our go to pony over the last year for just about anything.

Martini stands at 13hands with a stocky build, great hair and good bone. She has wonderful ground manners and is easy to catch, bathe, load, shoe, etc. She knows all the Fundamental groundwork and will lunge, round pen, moves hips/shoulders and will do all the showmanship manuevers. Groundwork is not required, but is a fun tool to have in your box.

Martini has done a very wide variety of things over the last year. She has been hauled to every local arena, barrel race, roping and horse show. Not only is she solid in the arena, but she has done more outside of the arena then your average 10 year old horse.

Martini has participated in all of the Christmas, cowboy day and mule day parades including a parade in Columbia, TN with over 200 wagons, horses and mules. She has been rode alongside busy highways and roads, through drive throughs and all over town.

Along with parades, she has carried flags (double) in rodeos, been rode on every trail under the sun and been on camping trips. She will stand highlined, to the trailer and she is also used to and quiet in a stall.

Not only is she gentle, she is BROKE! She will side pass, turn around/spin, shoulder in shoulder out, soften to the bit and has easy upward and downward transitions all in a snaffle bridle.

Martini has a ranch riding style foundation but could go anyway. She goes over cross country jumps, obstacles, cross rails… She will drag logs, lope through the barrel pattern and has been successful showing on the rail at both club shows and in all breed classes at AQHA shows.

I can’t say enough good things about this pony, she has truly been a blessing to our farm and built many young riders confidence.

Located in Birmingham, AL and up to date on everything. We keep four shoes on her only for trails and riding down roads.

To the training horse that fits me like a glove… ♥️

Every once in awhile you get sent that once in a lifetime horse that just feels like home every time you saddle him up and go ride.

A horse like this to me is rare and these are the ones that truly make me love my job.

I was sent Sampson two years ago to take through the Academy Horse program.

What started out as a horse that was in and out of his gait and didn’t know how to lope ended with one of the most amazing animals I’ve ever rode.

Not only is he by far one of the easiest gaited horses I’ve ever rode, but truly has a heart of gold and wants to be your buddy no matter what.

Sampson is headed to his new home in Minnesota soon and this will definitely be a hard one for me to say goodbye to.

Fiona and I have been gearing up for the Alabama state horse show.

This mare has come such a long way in a short time.

With less than six months of riding she sure has proven to be competitive in the Ranch Rail. I sure am excited about her future.

She makes it fun with a great amount of natural talent and forward movement! ♥️

Just a sorrel........

Nothing blows my mind more than people in the horse world saying "Just a plain sorrel" or in search of posts for people looking for their dream horse and stating "open to anything of color, just no sorrels".

What's a sorrel?.....
A sorrel is a horse that has earned his place, not hiding behind or relying on his unique, flashy coat color to make him stand out in the world.
A sorrel has more heart and try than I have ever seen in a horse.
A sorrel is a horse who's value is solely based on substance, ability and mind, not on cosmetics.
A sorrel is red, the color of power.
A sorrel has taught me more than any horse ever has.
A sorrel keeps me as honest as a horseman as he is as a horse.
A sorrel is a horse that should never be underestimated.
A sorrel is a horse that chose me.
A sorrel is the one horse on the property you couldn't buy from me even if you caught me on my worst day.

The greatest horse I have ever owned is just a sorrel. ❤️

I’ve always wanted a gypsy……♥️

Although I’m not big into color I am a sucker for a long mane and tail and some feathers😂

Fiona truly just has it all. She is absolutely beautiful with so much hair and ontop of all of that she is soo forward under saddle (in a great way), talented and incredibly gentle.

She is truly my dream horse. I had no idea when I bought her she would turn into such an amazing animal and this is only the beginning. 🥹🥰

“Going Suddenly” Aka “Tito” 7yr Old Gelding

Tito stands 16 hands and has a wonderful foundation to go on and do just about anything! AQHA And NSBA.

This gelding is incredibly easy to handle and have in the barn. Tito is good for the farrier, baths, saddling/bridling and also has great Clinton Anderson groundwork. On the ground Tito will back up, lunge, round pen, flex, yield hips and shoulders, stand for desensitizing to a variety of objects and work over obstacles. This boy loves pole work and to jump!

Tito has been a pleasure to train under saddle as well. In a snaffle bit he is easy to soften, guide and move each individual body part. He will side pass, turn around,two track, move hips and shoulders, flex, and has a correct stop and back up. I have been working with Tito on all the ranch riding maneuvers over the last couple months and he has taken to it wonderfully! He was started as a pleasure horse but was not pushed and had between 90-120 when I bought him three months ago. In the last couple weeks I have started Tito in a correctional bridle and he has done great with the change.

Tito has been hauled and is a very quiet and sweet gelding. He goes over all the ranch trail obstacles and has also pushed cows. I believe with a little more training he would make an awesome ranch riding horse or even local level western pleasure horse. With his size, great demeanor and ability to move out I could even see him making a great day working or rope horse.

The only bad I can say about Tito is he is Pigeon Toed. It does not affect him at all and I have clean front feet x rays for any potential buyers. He is 100% sound! Up to date on everything and wears 4 shoes.

5 star homes only 🌟🌟

Commanche is a 6yr old registered Friesian/Quarter horse cross gelding. If I had to describe Commanche in one word it would be kind. He loves his people and has been enjoyed by a variety of riders who vary in age and experience level.

Commanche is great to handle and interact with. He is easy to catch, bathe, saddle/bridle, trailer, groom, etc. He has wonderful Clinton Anderson groundwork and will do all of the Fundamental and most intermediate exercises. Some of these exercises include round penning, lunging, backing, tons of desensitizing, yielding hindquarters and forequarters, lunging in the arena and over obstacles, flexing and sidepassing to and from. He has also learned how to lay down and give hugs.

I have personally known Commanche for two years now and he has always been an absolute pleasure to train on and ride. He will walk, extend walk, jog, extend trot and lope under saddle. His upward and downward transitions are effortless. He has been rode in a correctional bridle but the majority of his career has been in a snaffle.

He has all the bells and whistles and will backup, side pass, move hips and shoulders and turn around(spin) under saddle. He stands still for mounting and will side pass and pick you up from the mounting block or any other object. Commanche has had tons of miles on overnight camp trips, to horse shows, barrel races, ropings and parades. He loves to push/gather cows and knows what a hard days work looks like. Recently we rode him at Mule Days in Columbia TN where he was rode through fast food drive throughs, all over town, around wagons and tons of commotion.

This outstanding gelding is very simple and easy to get along. Although he has a natural horsemanship and ranch riding style foundation, I believe he would flourish in most any discipline English or western.

Coming up for sale this week will be one stellar gelding “Commanche” ❤️‍🔥

A incredibly fun, user friendly and well broke registered Friesian/QH gelding. He’s been rode by all levels of riders and has been hauled all over on trail rides, over night camp trips, rode through parades and at horse shows and ropings.

He is what some would call “fancy broke” and will sidepass, turn around, lopes off in the palm of your hand and rides straight and collected in the bridle.

A true once in a lifetime gelding and at just 6 years old he has his whole life ahead of him.
