It's been a little quiet around here, so I thought I'd share a quick update from Huntley's Goldens! 🐾

Life has been busy, and while I haven't been great about posting lately, we've definitely been staying busy behind the scenes.

Last week, Emmy and her daughter Pearl took a road trip for their annual OFA eye exams, and I'm happy to report both girls received normal results! ✅

We also have appointments scheduled later this month for Pearl to complete the remainder of her health testing, including her advanced cardiac echocardiogram and hip and elbow evaluations. It's hard to believe she's almost two years old already, and we're excited to see what the future holds for her. 💛

We recently completed all of the health testing on Baloo, our handsome two-year-old male, which is a huge milestone for our program.

Many have asked about our future breeding plans. As many of you know, Emmy has been such a special part of our program. She did not get pregnant on her last breeding attempt, but we plan to give her one final opportunity on her upcoming heat cycle. Whether she has puppies or not, this will be her last breeding, and then she'll officially retire to enjoy life as a beloved family dog here with us. ❤️

If everything goes according to plan, we're hopeful for one or possibly two litters this fall or winter. Health testing and timing always play a role, but our current plans are:

🐾 Emmy & Ozark (with Baloo as a backup option if needed)

🐾 Pearl & Baloo

Of course, we'll share more updates once plans are finalized.

I'll also be working on updating our website soon and sharing more photos and information along the way.

As always, thank you for following our journey. The dogs in our program are family first, and I feel incredibly blessed to share them with all of you.
