At this point Brownstone will be limiting offsite travels without quarantine for a minimum of 2 weeks before reentering the pastures and we have stopped our Day Passes until the EHV concern has lifted.
All veterinary and maintenace services will be restricted to registered fields. All service providers should wash/sanitize hands and equipment before working with any Brownstone horse.

News began to surface yesterday of a possible EHV exposure at an event in Waco, TX in early November.
In 24 hours... confirmed cases, very sick horses and deaths have been reported across Texas.
Producers are making the very difficult decision to postpone or cancel events.
The BFA is well underway at the Lazy E in Guthrie, OK - one of the most prestigious barrel races in the country. Last night, they announced the cancellation of the remainder of the event - a staggering decision which tells you just how critical circumstances could become.

‼️ Be vigilant in the care of your animals, be respectful of other's animals, CONSULT YOUR VET for specific recommendations, please limit travel and use extreme caution and disinfecting measures if travel is required ‼️
