It’s a bittersweet day at dog daycare as we say goodbye to our wonderful friend, Tex. After so many tail wags, play sessions, and snuggles, Tex and his owner are off to start a new adventure outside of Victoria!

Welcome to The Pet Resort on Main

The Pet Resort on Main provides the highest quality dog boarding, cat boarding, dog daycare and pet grooming. We're located in Victoria on Main St. just 1/2 mile north of Business 59 and 2 miles south of Loop 463. We're just a few blocks north of Main Street Animal Hospital.

Dr. Travis Schaar and his wife Toni contemplated opening a full-service pet lodging facility in Victoria, TX for many years. They dreamed of a state-of-the-art facility where pets vacation while their families are away or just away for the day.

Another important part of The Pet Resort on Main is a quality Dog Daycare program. Veterinarians are often asked how to help behavioral problems. Dogs are social beings and often get bored or lonely when left at home by themselves all day. Dr. Travis has seen many amazing successes of how Dog Daycare has changed ill-mannered and destructive behaviors. Instead of worrying about your dog while you’re at work or running errands, quality dog daycare provides a special environment with safe play time while stimulating both the physical and mental needs of dogs.
