The rhythmical, three dimensional movement of the horse at a walk stimulates movement to the rider that is similar to human walking. The total development of the rider, including their social, emotional, cognitive and motor skills, are enhanced through interactions with the horses, the volunteers and the outdoors.

Volunteers are the heart of everything we do. At The RTC, you aren’t just helping with a lesson—you are a steady hand and an encouraging voice for a rider on their journey to independence.

How you can help:
🐴 In the Arena: Sidewalking or horse handling (ages 14+).
🛠️ On the Ranch: Facility maintenance and care.
✨ In the Community: Fundraising and outreach committees.
No horse experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need. If you have a heart for service and a love for our community, there is a place for you in our "village."
