Abby knew the way to Victor's heart was through belly rubs & treats!

Victor has had a long, patient road to recovery with bandage changes multiple times per week since the end of August when he had surgery at Iowa State University to amputate two of his toes on his front leg. We initially diagnosed Victor with a plasma cell tumor after his owner brought him in with concern of a significant swelling between the toes, and referral to the soft tissue surgery and oncology departments at ISU was recommended after a sample from the affected tissue was taken. Complete amputation of the affected toes was recommended in order to achieve clear margins and reduce the chance of recurrence or progression, and Victor has done outstanding since his procedure! He was always so excited to come see "his girls" at CVC & we are thrilled that he has officially "graduated" from his bandage changes with us! 🖤❤

🐾 NEW AT CVC - Advanced diagnostics, now available closer to home!

We’re excited to bring complete abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms to CVC - expanding the advanced diagnostic options available to our patients right here in our community!

This technology allows our doctors to take a closer look at your pet’s internal organs and heart, providing valuable information to help guide diagnosis and treatment - without the need to travel farther for these specialized imaging services.

With advanced training completed by both Dr. Gregory & Dr. Koethe, we’re proud to continue expanding the level of care we can provide our patients. 💚
