Please don’t wait until your dog’s coat looks like this.

These photos show severe matting that could have been prevented with routine brushing and regular grooming appointments. Mats pull tightly on your dog’s skin every time they move, making the grooming process uncomfortable and sometimes painful.

Unfortunately, I’m seeing more and more dogs arrive in this condition.

Doodles, poodles, and other curly-coated breeds should typically be groomed every 4–8 weeks, depending on their coat and how well they’re maintained at home. Regular brushing between appointments is just as important.

The best way to avoid extra charges—and keep your dog comfortable—is to pre-book your next grooming appointment before you leave. Keeping your dog on a consistent schedule means less stress, a healthier coat, and a much more enjoyable grooming experience for your pet. 🐾❤️

📢 We’re Hiring! 🐾

Wiggle Butts Boarding & Training LLC is looking to fill one part-time assistant/fill-in position.

This position primarily involves dog boarding, but duties are not limited to cleaning, bathing dogs, and assisting with daycare dogs.

Schedule:
• Mostly afternoons and evenings during the week
• One weekend shift
• Occasional fill-in coverage as needed

Requirements:
🐶 Reliable and dependable
🚗 Must have reliable transportation
📝 Able to follow directions and work independently
🐾 Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
💪 Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Experience working with dogs is preferred, but I’m willing to train the right person.

I’ve been a little quiet on the grooming posts lately because I’ve been busy taking care of all of our boarding pups! 🐾
