Teamwork makes the dream work! ✨

We want to give the biggest shout out to HALO No-Kill Rescue Shelter for being a hero to our Gatsby!

Gatsby was a long-term resident at our shelter with a medical condition called Megaesophagus. He was passed by for so many months, despite being the sweetest and most dog friendly boy…until this weekend!

We were able to transfer Gatsby to the amazing HALO No-Kill Rescue Shelter, where he will be able to live his best life in a foster home until he is adopted!

Amazing things happen when our community comes together! We love you Gatsby! Thank you HALO!

Hound lovers, meet your dreamboat! 😍

Jeb is a 4-year-old, 41-lb stunner with the most beautiful coat and a heart full of nothing but love. He was found as a stray and we can’t believe no one came to reclaim this good, sweet boy.

Bert is a 2-year-old sweetheart with the biggest heart 💜

This little guy LOVES going for walks, exploring the world around him, and soaking up all the attention he can get from his favorite humans. He’s fun, friendly, and ready to be your loyal sidekick through every adventure.

Bert is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated — all he’s missing is a couch to curl up on and a family to love him forever. 🐾

⚠️URGENT: Our X-Ray Machine is Broken — We Need Your Help NOW ⚠️

Our shelter is facing a critical emergency—our x-ray machine has completely broken down, and we are now unable to provide the diagnostic care that so many of our animals urgently need.

Every day, injured, sick, and suffering animals arrive at our doors. We see dogs hit by cars, cats with suspected internal trauma, animals limping, unable to walk, or crying out in pain—and without an x-ray machine, we’re left guessing. We cannot treat what we cannot see.

We are desperate to raise the $4,580 needed to purchase a new x-ray machine. Without it, we are forced to delay care while we scramble for solutions. These animals are counting on us to be their lifeline, to ease their pain, to fix broken bones, and to help them heal.

Just take a look at some of are the animals whose lives we have been able to save because we had an x-ray machine. You’ll see the x-rays that revealed hidden injuries — the moments on the table when a diagnosis meant the difference between suffering and surviving. These are the lucky ones.

Please — Help us help them and donate today. Every single dollar brings us closer to getting the equipment we need to give these animals the second chance they deserve.

Looking for a reason to fall in love today? Meet Gatsby❤️

Gatsby is one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs—the kind who makes you feel like you won the lottery just by meeting him. At just 40 pounds and two years old, he’s the perfect size to fit into your life…and your heart.

He’s gentle, joyful, affectionate, and LOVES other dogs. He leans in for closeness like he’s saying, “I’m yours, if you’ll have me.”

So why is this incredible boy still waiting?

Gatsby has a condition called megaesophagus, which simply means he needs to eat in a special upright chair (called a Bailey Chair) so gravity can help his food go down. It takes just 15 minutes, and he’s happy as can be. That’s it. No meds, no drama—just a loving pup who needs a little boost at mealtime.

And for a dog this sweet? It’s nothing.

Gatsby doesn’t see himself as different, and we don’t either. He’s just a wonderful dog with a unique routine. One that’s a small ask in exchange for the love, loyalty, and joy he brings.

We’re looking for someone who sees past the diagnosis and into his heart. Someone who sees not a challenge—but a gift. Someone who will give Gatsby the life he’s been waiting for.

Nelly 😍

Is she not absolutely breathtaking? Nelly is a three-year-old Redbone Coonhound and one of the most stunning, sweet, and snuggly girls you’ll ever meet.

She’s been with us a little while now, and we seriously can’t believe she hasn’t been scooped up. Nelly is the full package—playful, loving, house-trained, and so well-behaved. She knows “come,” is learning “leave it,” and did great being left alone in her last home.

She’s been a total rockstar in playgroup—confident, appropriate, and just genuinely enjoys being around other dogs!

Nelly adores people and was amazing with the visiting 5-year-old grandchild in her previous home, plus she got along great with neighborhood kids. She’s happiest curled up next to you, chewing on a bone, or tagging along to see what you’re doing. She was even a perfect angel at the vet!

Nelly is loyal, smart, and just the sweetest soul. She’s the kind of dog who makes you smile every single day. Come meet her—you’ll fall in love. 👑❤️

This frosty-faced beauty is Bella, and she needs you.

At 10 years old, Bella was surrendered by her family. Now, she’s finding herself in a noisy shelter, confused and heartbroken—unsure where her people went or why she’s here. It’s the kind of sadness you feel deep in your chest.
