🥰This lady has arthritis, a history of spinal cord issues and cancer. We see her weekly to keep her moving as optimal and comfortably as possible.

🐶You can see where stimulation at different parts of her chest and belly initiate her to weight shift.

🐶This little guy has shoulder weakness and instability which we helped to stabilize with hobbles on the front legs.

🐕‍🦺You can hear the increased respiratory noise that Ballyhoo has. He has laryngeal paralysis which means the cartilage in his throat should open and close but his are partially open. Since they are not opening fully, the noise is made by air reverberating on the cartilage.

🫁Many dogs with laryngeal paralysis also have hind end weakness and can have esophageal issues as well.

🩺If you hear this noise please get your dog evaluated by their veterinarian to learn about your options.

🐾At TCAR we have a validated exercise program for GOLPP and laryngeal paralysis if your dog is currently managing this condition.

🐶It can be hard for older dogs to support their front legs between chronic arthritis and muscle injuries.

🐾By helping her legs have support she is able to walk without falling.

💦Hydrotherapy for dogs with IVDD. Many times we used the underwater treadmill for gait training. We are able to vary speed, water height, intensity and duration to help adjust gait. If needed we are in the tank with the the dogs and manually adjust the gait.
