Italy just became the first country to officially allow medium and large dogs to fly in airplane cabins, no more cargo holds. As long as the dog fits in a secure carrier on the seat and meets weight limits, they’re cleared for takeoff. It’s a major win for animal welfare and could set a compassionate new standard for global travel.

Six-and-a-half years old, seventy-five pounds of Rottweiler resilience. Three legs. One incredibly sweet girl.

You might recognize Rollie—she’s the brave mama who came to us after falling from a third-story window. Her injuries were severe, and despite our best efforts, her front leg couldn’t be saved. But Rollie has faced every challenge with quiet courage and a nub wag that melts everyone's heart.

Now officially a tripod, she’s getting the hang of her new balance and stealing hearts every step of the way. She’s dog-friendly, likely kid-friendly, and an all-around gentle soul. This just in- no cats, please, but she’s open to meeting her perfect match—especially if belly rubs are involved.

Rollie is ready for a fresh start with a family who sees her for the extraordinary girl she is.
