Opal’s babies turned a week old yesterday 🐰 We are sad to say that we lost two of her original litter due to natural complications. This is the sad part about raising animals like rabbits who are very fragile in the beginning of life. But we are happy that her four babies are doing amazing now and everyone is growing well. I love this litter so much and Opal decided to create a mini her in this litter.

This is why I will never promote breeding to just anyone… it’s not always just making babies. Sometimes it’s days like today. I took off of work because I wasn’t feeling well, only to spend most of my day running around to different stores trying to find the right formula for this little guy. This baby was born a few days ago and unfortunately he’s not thriving. So all we can do is try all the tricks we have to get him and mama on the best track and hope it all works out. I will be bottle feeding him a few times a day now in hopes it will give him the head start he needs. Mama will also be receiving supplements. Breeding is a lot of work. It’s sometimes a roller coaster of emotions. There’s way more time and money put in than we ever get back. But to special people, it’s worth it. ❤️

We also would like to announce that we have officially brought all of the rabbits home for our small breeding group ❤️ We’d like to welcome Opal (opal vienna marked doe), Amethyst (broken lilac doe), Ash (cream vienna marked buck) & Hickory (black tort buck)! Opal has obviously made herself right at home here but we are giving the others a little time to settle in before we begin pairing! We will have more updates in the coming weeks! 🐰

Some of you who have been following us since the beginning may remember that for a while we had some reptiles we were working with. Unfortunately we decided not to continue with those projects when life took a turn. After some consideration we have decided to get back into reptiles! Not sure if I’m going to be posting everything on this page or create another page for just reptiles but for now we are posting here!

This is Petunia (one of Penelope’s babies that was born in September)! We have been keeping a close eye on her and I’m happy to say I’m probably 75% sure she is expecting within the next month or so! I’m very excited to see what she will produce as she carries satin, dilute colors and the long haired gene! Can’t wait to have some babies born here soon! It’s been a while since we have had any!

Unfortunately we didn’t get any babies in April like we were hoping, but we are keeping our fingers crossed for May. This is PB&J, we are hoping to receive a litter from her this month. She is just starting to show a round belly so we are hoping for the best! ❤️

MEET Maruchi! She is approximately 4yo and a English Lop mix! She is a large breed rabbit who will need plenty of room to stretch her legs! She is friendly with people and is comfortable with cats and dogs. (Please never leave pets together unsupervised.) She is looking for a new home! Her owner is willing to help transport her to her forever home. Please send me a message if you are interested in adopting Maruchi, we will be screening potential adopters for the current owner before giving the owners personal information out.

‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT‼️
Hi everyone! I know it’s been quiet around here, but we do have some things in the works unfortunately life just keeps getting in the way! I will be posting about those things soon!

I had someone reach out to me looking for help rehoming rabbits they have acquired over the past few years. There are 16 rabbits needing homes, most are between 2-5 years of age. Unfortunately their owner isn’t in the best health and needs help finding them great homes. I offered to help. I cannot take all these rabbit into my home so I offered to post them on social media for her and help vet out potential adopters. As of right now I’m still waiting to receive photos and descriptions of each rabbit (which I should get sometime this week). She has many different breeds, large and small (English lop mixes, Flemish giants, lion heads, holland lop mixes). She is located in Kingston, NY but is willing to drive to meet good adopters!

If you may be interested in giving one of these bunnies a home please reach out to me! I will not be giving out her personal information until adopters have been vetted. These animals are not being housed in my care so they WILL NOT come with any health guarantees. I will be posting pictures and descriptions as soon as I receive them! 🐰 Thanks everyone!
