Unfortunately, decisions were made. Five souls recently lost their chance at FURever. Space is limited and it breaks our hearts, but when the dogs continue to come in day after day and nothing leaves then decisions have to be made. We still need to get our numbers down and move dogs out if they stand a chance. We overa**lyze, stress, and lie awake at night with these dreadful decisions. We discuss each dog in depth before we make a final decision and load them up. We are angry, we cry, and we are so frustrated with the way things are. We don't know what else to do at this point. People still refuse to spay and neuter, they just don't care. It's the amazing dogs that pay the price, especially the bully breeds... as 4 out of the 5 dogs we said goodbye to were bullies.
Help us change the outcome... choose to spay and neuter, and be an advocate for shelter dogs everywhere!
