Happy Friday friends! Dr Jake Brown left our practice a couple of months ago to pursue his dream of owning his own veterinary practice in the Tulsa area. We are happy for him and wish him the best!

We are working hard to find his replacement, but in the meantime, we will not be seeing small animal appointments every Saturday. Please be patient with us, call ahead, and understand that we want to provide the very best care to your critters.

We are no longer going to offer in house BVD or blood pregnancy testing. Samples can be sent to Cattle Stats in OKC. However, we would love to palpate or ultrasound your cows for pregnancy. Call us, we can do it in the clinic or on your farm!

Due to low staffing, we will not be accepting small animal (dog or cat) appointments on Saturdays. We believe this to be temporary and ask that you bear with us. All small animal emergencies will be directed to emergency clinics in OKC. We will continue to take cattle, horse, sheep, and goat appointments.

The cattle comfort index has been "on fire" lately. With highs above 100 and just as important lows in the high 70's it is difficult for cattle to dissipate body heat and return to normal before sunup and the next day's heating. Try to avoid cattle handling and movement until this heat wave breaks this weekend. If handling cannot be avoided, try to start at daybreak and be done as early in the morning as possible.
