Training horse- Mamacita is a super sweet 4 year old Mustang. She came in for training after losing her rider on a lope departure.

So where do we start? From the beginning. I went back through her foundation and found the holes that needed work. 1.) she was afraid of equipment specifically the saddle when loping and 2.) she was frightened of things over head. She was able to tolerate most things, but hadn’t learned to truly soften into the pressure.

Addressing these issues from the ground will help translate them to the saddle. I’m happy to report she is doing great and much less fearful now with a rider in the saddle. What a pleasure to work with such a sweet mare! 🐎

Chico is a 17 year old registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. He has a very smooth, natural gait (currently barefoot) and is great with kids. Needs a confident rider when he’s out on the trails as he does have some get up and go! Please message for pricing and details.

Dia is a 11 year old registered AQHA mare. Great ranch prospect and she has also done games and worked cows. Currently used as a lesson horse here at the farm. Intermediate to advanced rider. Please message for pricing and details.

Jupiter, a 7 year Andalusian/Quarter Horse, was brought in for training this summer because he had become mouthy and dangerous to lead. We first changed up his environment making sure he had adequate room to move, adding slow feeders to extend his grazing time and a hay ball for entertainment. We then worked on groundwork before each ride making sure we had control of his body and especially a back up since his tendency was to bite. I’m happy to report he and his owner, Angela, are doing great and using the new tools they have learned!

Baker is a 3 year old Gypsy Vanner gelding in training for groundwork and ground manners. Even managed to get a first ride on him! First time working with this breed and now I get why people fall in love with them! He was a perfect gentleman to work with! ❤️
