We got funding for something exciting!! I need some suggestions for fabrication to turn our step van into a mobile veggie truck. Think ice cream truck but for us veggie lovers. We are taking our SNAP reader and coming to your neighborhood to bring that good stuff. Let's get to work. Know someone who does fabrication. Do you know someone who does custom wraps!! We need suggestions!

An amazing sound bath in our beautiful greenhouse Bonus; Make a Mullien torch.

Traditionally Mullien torches have been used all the way back to Egyptian and Roman times as a torch to light your way and as a beacon for intention setting. The mullein stalk candle is perfect for equinoxes, solstices, meditations, celebrations, rituals, clearing ceremonies, and marking life transitions. (like the final night in your home before a move). With a burn rate of roughly 1 inch every 10 minutes, each torch offers a long-lasting, atmospheric light meant to be enjoyed outdoors.

Our farm takes eggs to the max. We use a gran and pea blend that is grown at a farm in Oregon. We ferment the feed so that the most nutrients are available. Our hens are rotated through 4 acres and have lots of veggie scraps. No antibiotics ever. Our eggs are never washed. And a fun fact is that grocery store eggs no matter how good their practices are they are always about 90 days old at the store. So is there even any nutritional value left at that point. The day that the eggs come from the hen house is on our package so you know they are only days old.

This is what eggs should be. Quality over quantity and a true small batch setup for sustainable raising of hens that offers the best bounty of eggs.
The best eggs you ever eat.

The problem is there is so much food that isn't really food.
We fill our homes with foods made for shelf stability and not for our health. It's a system build on cheap ingredients. We want a simpler way to go back to eating real food and when we couldn't find it we decided we needed to make it. You can't solve every problem in the world but you can do more than you think. We know change starts small and we are ready to help you start making that change and start eating real food.

Check out our website and learn about how we support you and change the way you eat. Re-connect with food and find joy in the kitchen.

Did you know we have a guide book that helps you to PREP, COOK, STORE and FREEZE everything that comes from a farm.

It's been a whirlwind over the last week, which feels much longer then a week, but here we are harvesting a few goodies. Three inches of rain out here sure made it soggy and sloppy. Our little pond even managed to collect quite a bit of water, although mostly dry already by the morning. Beautiful veggies came out of the field looking mostly nice, but good to see how the fields held with the deluge of water. Wish I had taken more pictures but the sun and work felt so nice today and the silence was golden.

One Day at a Time

A farm imperfect! A Plate full of hard work, Growing children, sheep, chickens, ducks, goats, dogs, and produce for our very local community. We were a farm, had a fire lost everything. We relocated and rebuild. We are back, bigger and better. We are stronger and with more of us. We look forward to the winter work of preparing for the spring and summer. Seeds and soil prep beds and planning. So much behind the scenes. We are A family so its not just a business we do this for our children. We want them to know what this life can be and how the community comes together. Needs that can be met locally from your neighbors. Join us as we pass the days one at a time.
