Meet Amanda (Groomer)

I’ve worked in the Animal industry since I was 16. Started out in boarding /Daycare, volunteered with the humane society and local rescues. I went to college to be a vet tech just after my daughter was born and jumped careers to Grooming just a little over 10 years ago! It’s definitely my passion and I enjoy building a relationship with each fur baby that I get the opportunity to pamper! I’ve been with NPM a year next month and everyone is amazing! Truly blessed 💕

Nikki (Groomer)

Hi I’m Nikki and this is my sweet girl Scarlet! I was born and raised in southern Utah where I loved hiking the beautiful red rock until I craved some rain and moved out here to the PNW. I’ve been grooming dogs for almost 12 years and have always had a strong desire to take care of animals since I was a child. Aside from grooming, I really enjoy drawing and playing the piano!

Meet Dani P. (pet food nutritionist)

Dani is a true animal lover who has a strong passion in educating pet owners on natural, raw & fresh food diets for their pets! She started her journey at 16 with starting her own pet sitting business! The she shifted gears after rescuing her 1st dog Rosie and English bulldog and got her 1st job in the pet food industry in 2015, she’s been working at local + independently owned pet stores for the last 11 years now! She has received multiple certifications in animal nutrition over all the years and has traveled to multiple conventions to further her knowledge and discover new products within the animal nutrition world too! She loves serving her local community of pet lovers and offering her knowledge to help you and your pets live long, healthy & happy lives together! ❤️ she has 2 dogs Baldur a Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd/American Bully mix & Gimli a French bulldog who some of you have recently met in store and can expect to see with her on her shifts!

⚠️IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!⚠️

Hello there, everyone. We feel like we need to be transparent about the changes in the FARMINA N&D product line going forward.

Unfortunately, Farmina has used the opening of their new production facility in the United States as an excuse for the coming changes in their formulas going forward. Claiming they’re “ingredient enhancements” which include the following:

- Product lines will include forms of pork on top of the regular protein printed on the label. (Example Chicken/pumpkin/pomegranate will now have pork)
- Quinoa formulas will also include whole rice.
- Grain-inclusive formulas will now ALL include chicken & WHOLE WHEAT as a binder, which is especially disappointing we pride ourselves on selling foods without corn/soy or wheat in them and this will drastically impact our ability to recommend them going forward.

There's not much we can do on our end aside from vocalizing our disappointment at their decisions, but we recommend any Farmina customers reach out to their email or phone line and let them know what you think of these changes. We have been told that our distributor still has some of the old original formulas left, so we will continue to order product as usual until we see the new lines come in, and will make decisions going forward about the direction we want to take. In the meantime, please stop in or reach out with any questions, as we will be happy to help find new recommendations or product options going forward. Please share this post with any of your fellow Farmina regulars so they can stay informed.
