Rory our Day Trainer today worked so hard at being a good girl staying focused and we worked on her place command, plus Zoey and Cooper the fun day dogs had a blast on their adventures today!

It doesn’t matter HOW good the board and train was. Or how skilled the trainer.

Dogs will only be as trained as their owners allow them to be.

Let it all slide— and your dog will pretend they know nothing. Hold the standard, and you’ll continue having a trained dog for a lifetime.

The cool part is, YOU get to choose which dog you have.

I was tagged in a post a few weeks ago for someone looking for recommendations on where to board their reactive German Shepherd and after chatting we scheduled a few meet and greets before boarding starting. I recommended some muzzle training to help ease stress for everyone and miss Luna’s wonderful family did all the work needed and Luna was quite comfortable wearing her muzzle.
I picked her up for boarding Thursday evening which proved to be pretty stressful for this sweet sensitive girl but after she was loaded we headed out.
When arriving back at my place she didn’t want to get out and was quite clear about that so I didn’t push things and let her be. Poor girl did have an accident thru the night ( may have just been nerves ) but at this point she had to come out in the morning as I couldn’t let her sit in that. She came out more willingly but got overwhelmed when out and expressed that overwhelm with attempting to bite which she couldn’t do because of the muzzle. I’m mentioning all of this because that very following morning I decided to remove the muzzle and this girl didn’t let me down! We worked together respecting each other and tithe progress was incredible. She even got a bath and coat blow out before going home today, yes without the muzzle on and instead of trying to go after the blow dryer she sought comfort from me by leaning into me 💕

I truly couldn’t be more proud of this girl! And I can not wait to keep working with her and her family!!
