I'm sorry things have been a little quiet around here this week. โค๏ธ
Last week, Barks and Recreation said goodbye to one of its founding members, our self-appointed supervisor, and undoubtedly the real boss of the operation, Claire. ๐๐พ
While our building may be new, chances are if you've stopped by, you've met Claire. She was equal parts sassy, sweet, and full of personality. She loved absolutely everyone and never missed an opportunity to greet a human with kisses and her signature butt wiggles.
She took her job very seriously, making sure all the group-friendly dogs followed the rules and keeping everyone in line (whether they asked her to or not). She had a big personality, an even bigger heart, and left her mark on every part of Barks and Recreation.
Rest easy, sweet girl. We're going to miss every sassy, silly, wonderful bit of you. โค๏ธ
But if Claire taught us anything, it's that life doesn't stop moving! And in true Claire fashion, we've kept moving forward.
This week, we officially kicked off our group classes, and I couldn't be more excited about the teams joining us! ๐โจ
It's been so much fun getting to know everyone, seeing the enthusiasm you all bring, and starting to build the foundations for some really great things. I'm looking forward to watching these dogs and their people grow together over the next several weeks.
Thank you to everyone who has joined us, supported us, and helped make this little dream a reality. It means more than you know.
Here's to new beginnings, big training goals, and a little extra sass in Claire's honor. โค๏ธ๐พ
