VEGGIE OF THE MONTH.......
SUNGOLD TOMATOES

SunGold are super delicious and great producers!! They produce small orange cherry tomatoes, generally weighing between 15-18 grams each. Sungold produces fruit very early in the growing season and continues to produce tomatoes until frost in autumn.

VEGGIE OF THE MONTH - Purple Tomatillo

Purple Tomatillo -also known as Mexican husk tomato is in the nightshade family along with tomatoes and peppers. Some people think that these are a type of tomato, but in fact they are completely different fruits. These tasty fruits can be eaten raw or cooked and add flavor and color to lots of Mexican dishes.

VEGGIE OF THE MONTH - Tromboncino Squash

We got turned-on to these squash by some friends a few years ago and we LOVE growing them!

Tromboncino is fun because it can be grown as a summer squash or a winter squash. Harvest during the summer for a tender green squash or allow it to grow to maturity for a butter-nutty taste.
These fruits can grow over three feet in length and just look so cool in the garden!
