Trying something with carrots I always wanted to try. I saw a video a year ago.
I'm starting carrot seed in a controlled manner.

I have the large egg trays that hold 30 eggs. I have filled them with potting soil.
I watered them well. Sprinkled seeds in each cell.
After germination and some growth, I will put each flat of egg trays directly in the soil outside in our garden.

Sorry for not posting for such a long time. I needed a break from gardening. I work in horticulture at work.

Today I am planting at least four trays of fall seeds. These include broccoli, cauliflower, cabbages, Brussels sprouts, onions,and swiss chard.
