Almost Home is an all volunteer staffed facility that is dedicated to the love, care and placement of dogs that are placed in our care. The shelter was co-founded by the current board president, Jo Ellen Banhart, in March 2017.

You can contribute to the needs in various ways:
Walk dogs
Clean kennels
Feed and wash dog bowls
Play yard attendant
Vet runs
Fundraising
Festival
Laundry
& more

“Hand on training” will take place Saturday October 11th at shelter, time TBD

Come shop doggie costumes, dog beds, and more.
100% proceeds supports stray dogs.
Volunteers are needed for both days.
